Does anyone use Google Alerts?

I went to Google's site at and tried to create an alert.

I want to be notified when sites link to me.

I put this as my search terms under web:
link:www.mommyenterprises.com

Is this correct?

Stefani,

To keep track of sites linking to yours, use instead. It will allow you to track up to three phrases. (If you're also tracking your name, put it in quotes for more accuracy.) To track your web site, putting "yourdomain.com" should work. That way you will also find pages that just talk about your website, and if they're not using a link to your site, you can pop them an email requesting a link!

I do, and I like it.
One nice thing is that if someone has published an article you've written, and didn't include your bio, you can find out about it easily.
That's happened to me a few times, and after I asked the webmaster, they corrected it.

my website link, name and my name
