Blogger or Wordpress.org or Wordepress.com???

I have heard from somewhere that blogger is a good platform to have because it gets you better google rankings. The lady that told me this said that she has a blogger account but also has her domain name www.whateversite.com directed to her blog.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Also if you think wordpress is better, what one of the two, wordpress.org or wordpress.com is better?

Self-hosted WordPress is definitely the best way to go. You have more freedom and flexibility when it comes to content and design. I can give you a laundry list of reasons why its better than Blogger or even WordPress.com but it all boils down to this: there's soooo much you can do with self-hosted WP that you can't do with the others.

I'm with April. Definitely Self-hosted WordPress and say "ditto" to her reasons why.

Absolutely do not use wordpress.com they can and will terminate your blog with no notice if they do not like the content. I had a blog terminated after almost a year of promoting it and I know I am not the only one who has had that experience.
