Thanks Robert Allen (hope you don't mind me calling you that) for the help. I am such a non-techie that there is no way I could do this. I contacted my hosting as suggested and they said they couldn't help.
But Robert Adams came to my rescue and redid everything so my blog was up and running again. I needed it for a workshop I was conducting offline today, so couldn't take time to figure it out.
And the new version of wordpress has so many more features. I can hardly wait to try them.
