Overture Pay per Click to generate traffic

Postby roxxy » Tue Aug 01, 2006 4:29 pm

Overture has a well organized PPC system. You can bid for rankings and also choose the description and title you want, which provides highly targeted traffic to your website. You can control your bids at all times and adjust them, based on the quality of your results. Especially handy is the Search Term Suggestion Tool, which shows you how often people search for a particular word or phrase.
Overture pay per click would be the best choice generating traffic to your website.

I hear different things from different people. I have had good success with adwords but have never tried Overture. Some people in my market have told me it works better so I am going to try it.

I had great success with overture

I have had great success with overture. It all depends on what your selling. I wish I could use adwords but I owe them quite a bit I went kind of crazy testing ads out. Not be patient and bidding to much. But overture is great if you use a prepaid credit card. That way they cant hit your card everytime you account gets to the 3 day threshold. It can generate some good traffic. I dont know about there content match though I have gotten any sales that way. But trough search I have. I have always avoided content match because im almost certain the conversion rates are smaller and on a small budget I cant really test with that many clicks. So I stick with what I know works. But overture does work great for some products. I have tried selling those mp3 downloads programs have had any success on yahoo with that. But selling dish network. or advertising my free advertising tell a friend site. I have had great results.

I've been using a lot of classified ads like

for just $10 a month I can place as many ads as I want and I convert sales very well from them about 4%, which doesn't sound like a lot until you look at what 4% of 25,000 hits is :) and it cost me only 10 bucks a month, some months I place a couple extra feature ads.. to stir up some extra business...

If you aren't using this technique it is worth the time...
I also use PPC with adwords, and likewise for me yahoo just doesn't convert as well.... but I still use it...

I agree that Yahoo doesn't convert as well as google. I've heard that an effective way to use Yahoo is to send ads from there to an adsense page and profit from the difference between the cost of the clicks on Yahoo and the earnings from your adsense clicks.
