Me a newbie here too and struggling for a while on WP.
Can any1 here help a newbie

I want to upload images having affiliate links for example the bottles which have affiliate links when we click on the image. Can anyone help as to how i go about uploading these images.

In WordPress when you are writing a new post, just above the area where you are writing, where it says upload/insert click the image icon.
[I personally use the Browser Uploader to upload my images, but if the Flash Uploader works for you - then you can use that.]
Find your image, upload it.
On the resulting page, on the line where it says Link URL enter in the URL you want the image to link to, this would be your affiliate link, if it's an affiliate product.
Choose the if you want the image to the left, center or right of the text on the page; and what size you want the image to be.
Click 'Insert into post'
And that's it.
