I used to get as many as 100 spam emails a day. I am now down to less than 5 and many days a big fat zero. The program uses the built-in rules and filters of your email program. This means that you do not have to change your email server names which can sometimes cause you to stop receiving all mail.

A really nice feature is that Spam Inspector adds a toolbar directly to your email file menu. You can select any email in any folder and tell the program whether it came from a "friend" or "enemy." using either the exact email address or domain name. You will also be able to "bounce" any message that is not a forgery. You can also send abuse reports with the full message header. The best part is that when you use the "is spam" or "not spam" tools, an automatic message is sent to their learning network. Then the definitions library is automatically updated to your system.

Spam Inspector comes with a lot of built in rules. You can still add all that you want. There is no limit. I do recommend that you change the rules to send messages to a "spam" folder rather than just delete them. This way you can review the messages outside of your inbox. You will have better control over possible errors. So even if a legitamate email is sent there, you can use the "not spam" button and the program will even give you a popup (can be turned off) reminder to "add as friend."
