How do stop my Twitter posts appearing in my Facebook status

Postby daniellechonody » Mon Nov 17, 2008 10:24 pm

Hi,

A few months ago I set up my Facebook so that anything I Twitter will appear in my Facebook status bar.

Now I want to use Twitter more for newtorking and I want to turn this function off. Can anyone show me how?

Thanks
Danielle

Danielle,

In the top navigation area after logging into your account click on "Settings" - "Account Settings"

You will have a new window open up that will show "My Account"

Click on the "Notifications" tab and then scroll down to the bottom to the "Other Applications" section. You will see the option to turn Twitter on or off.

I have changed the button in Setting to off for Twitter - but my tweets are still getting shown in my Facebook status bar.

Is there anything else that I might have used to transfer them that needs to be turned off?

do you use TweetLater? There's a setting that sends your tweets to facebook.

I'm late to this thread, so you may already have solved the problem.

Do you have Friendfeed set up to show your tweets?

Act on your dream!
