Hyperlinked Text Not Showing Up

I'm building a new blog at http://beyourowninvestigator.com/ but whenever I attempt to put in hyperlinked text it shows up invisible. (The linked text isn't showing).

How can I fix this?

Hmm, just checked and it looks fine in Firefox just not IE.

In FF when you click on the link it disappears.
that is probably due to the css that is governing it.

but most likely is some quirk that wordpress puts in there.

I have not looked at wordpress' code in a while, it looks like MS Word html code.

check your style defintions for your links and see what it is doing.

Oy yeah wordpress can be very picky, good idea to check the style definitions for sure.

yep, when I looked at the code for that page I thought it had been made with Word. all of the MSO junk whatever that is.

and the whole point of css is to quit having to put all the font and other stuff in the html.

that page has every single line with all the old html for fonts, colors, etc, etc.
plus a css style sheet.
