I am having an issue with the back button of the browser window. The case is explained below.
1. When a user intiates a search(any search box) through the home page, the results will be displayed in the results page.
2. When the user goes to the more information page of a result, and if the user clicks on the back button of the browser, the result is a "page expired" page, when the user refreshes it will list the search results.
3. The same case is with the member area too. For Eg. After editing a profile and Saving and then click on the back button will have the same issue.
4. Implementation of entire site is over. There are numerous Search/ Member Area sections in the site. Therefore a comprehensive change in the implementation like using session or tables on form submission, just to solve this issue is not feasible as it would consume lot of time.
The above mentioned problem is only happening in the case of IE browser. and there are form values passed and the site is developed in ASP 3.0. Please help me to find a solution to this problem at the earliest.
