Creating an HTML Page on PHP Site

First of all, it IS possible, isn't it? Secondly, PLEASE speak in very easy to understand words, lol!

I'm EXTREMELY NEW to PHP. I recently set up a website that's in PHP with a couple of friends. Let me make sure this is clear, we bought a software to help us create the website and we were able to go into the admin panel and tweak it.

We want to create an HTML page on this site but we have no idea where to put it in the Cpanel files. And the only reason we chose to want to do an HTML page is because none of us know how to create a PHP page Not doing so well here, are we? LOL!

Can anyone help?

Oh and the site is www.mywahmspace.com if that's needed.

Hi Anita,

You can put a html file anywhere that you can put a php file. Just upload it to your server, and use a .html extension instead of a .php extension.

Try it out. Create the HTML page, upload it to the hosting account, then pull it up in a web browser... should work fine

and, to confuse you even more.

if you take any html page and change it's file extension to .php

it then becomes a php page.

with or without any php in it.
