Going nuts over those stupid little diamonds!

I'm trying to no avail to get those @$#@#@ little black diamonds and the ones with the question marks in them off my landing page.

What DO I do?

Hi Dan,
Those little black diamonds are the result of unrecognized or unsupported characters. If a browser doesn't understand a character (usually symbols), it will display a diamond and sometimes a diamond with a question mark in it.

If you want them gone, you need to open up your HTML document in a plain text editor and manually remove/convert them.

It's much easier if you have a robust HTML editor such as Dreamweaver, though, because it will actually show where those characters are so you can fix them.
