Differences on themed site architecture techniques

lets say kid birthday party and or kid birthday party clown and how one would develop a tightly themed site completely messed up on this one so have to re haul the site

www.funclownentetainment is the site that lacks any kind of themed structure whatsoever, placed a post up yesterday conerning this did not know anything about this, i believe in the newbie section

Hummm...interesting!

Each folder and page created from the group of words is a silo or is the whole site a silo or is the whole page referred to as a tiered themed web site....james This is a little unclear...

Clown site overhaul begins below..correct me please!

1) I first choose a theme for the clown site and make its theme now BIRTHDAY PARTY

2) Now being that the theme is birtday party I now choose and select different categories related to this theme and create content for these related categories.

3) Different categories related to birthday party could be, could also be considered sub-niche themes all related to the more general birthday party theme.

The 6 categories listed below, are these considered sub theme related categories to the general one, birthday party theme. If so then one would create content (or articles as you refer to it I believe ) for these sub related themes, and also referred to as silos. which is anther term for theme I believe.

kids birthday parties ideas
senior birthday parties ideas
parents birthday parties
birthday games
birthday cakes
birthday songs

If I were to look at this as TIERED then:

Tier 1 = birthday party
Tier 2 = kids birthday party ideas
Tier 3 = 5 year old birthday party ideas | 10 year old birthday party ideas | 13 year old birthday party ideas.........etcccc

On tier one ...birthday party home page there would be a link there to tier 2 ...kids birthday party ideas page and from kids birthday party ideas page there would be links there to 3 tier pages for 5-7-9-11-13 etcc birthday party ideas year olds seperate pages.

Then from each of these pages there would be a link to the next 1st page of the next sub theme category...such as 5 year old birthday party ideas page to the 7 year old birthday party ideas page...ooops getting a headache I wonder why......
