Internal Error trying to access site

here is a nasty problem, I have an adsense site where the admin
is on another server. All I wanted to do for the moment was to change the header graphics. I made my own in jpg format. I then opened filzilla,
on the right, opened public_html, then auto-sound, then images and
then brought over the jpg.
I was then told by THEIR support to go to cgi-bin (auto-sound), and set the
setpermission.sh file to 775. I did and then to http://auto-sound.bestpaidathomebiz.com ... issions.sh. No errors.
Now I cannot access my site, I get an "Internal Error" .....
error: directory is writable by others: (/home/bill0401/public_html/auto-sound)

is there any hope?

using your ftp , go back and set that file to 755 instead of 775

if that doesn't work, set it back to 644 to test.

Thanks Robert,
Somehow, when I logged into my cpanel this
morning, it was already set at 755. I can now
access the site. Problem: I need to be able to
over-write the source for the header. I have
ftp'ed the folder with the new header to my site.
It is the only one that shows in my cpanel. When I access my site, no header shows, just the "alt"
tag...http://auto-sound.bestpaidathomebiz.com
This is the source from the site, which I cannot
change with-out over-writing which I need to do..

The header I want is located on my desktop.
Do I open the folder which has the old one and delete it and replace it with the new one and re-upload it?

ok, the simplest way to do this is :

using your ftp program. go into the auto-sound/images folder and rename the header5.jpg to header.jpg

that should make the new image appear in your page.
