SBI, XSitePro or Frontpage?

Main differences of SBI, xsitepro or FP are what exactly!

The lastest craze lately is xsitepro..... ok how does xsitepro compare or differ better said to sbi and frontpage.

I already own FP, but wondering, why would FP owners switch to xsitepro!

FP and XsitePro are tools to design your web site, where as SBI is an entire package so that you can start a web business. I've been using SBI for over a year after designing sites the old fashioned way for about 9 years now. I'll never design another site outside of SBI. It just wouldn't make sense.

All the first two will do is help you design a site that sits on a server and, good luck with it. SBI has tools that help you brainstorm your concepts, find your niche, provides you targeted keywords to design your site around to get the traffic. Blog, newsletter, and a bunch more.

I just found out yesterday that my Oregon Coast site is in the top 1% of all travel-related sites on the Internet. #12 in Google out of 14,300,000 sites. That speaks volumes!

SBI is a complete system. They have assembled all the tools in one place and have a strong community and education for webmasters. The results of SBI sites are strong because of the link exchanging, focus on content and the tools they provide to make your website effective. They have an annual fee but they arrange everything including the domain name.

FP is an editor. You make pages and upload them via FTP to your host. It is the most difficult to use of the three and offers no real extra benefit.

XSitePro is an easy to use website builder that has some built in assets to assist marketers. It has an affiliate manager to store affiliate information, simple page rediret manager and a very easy WYSIWYG interface for creating pages.

The advantage of XSitePro is the one time fee, the ability to make sitewide changes in one click and the built in SEO info tab. You can also create many websites from the same desktop application and the FTP is built in.

I have achieved excellent results from xsitepro too but it does require extra tools and knowledge.

If so what risks are involved with getting banned when checking for ranking with IBP, or should it be done manually contact google for access to their data without getting banned not sure what you call this access to google whereby they allow you to tap into them without fear of getting banned.

Re Xsite Pro. I have it and also have Front Page. Xsite Pro has not been updated since it was first sold about 2 years ago and the forum has many posts complaining about that. There is a new version promised but no idea when.

I find it useful for sales letter type sites as well as content sites. It has the layout already done- you just choose a template. You can add your own header to the templates if you want to and you probably will. It comes with a Google advert insertion tool and a handy affiliate link tool. The SEO function is quite useful for a quick check. It also comes with a TOS, Contact, Privacy and Site Map pages and more.

So it is quite different from Front Page.I use both.
