need help with coding

Hi All -
Hope your day is going well

I was wondering if someone can help me out with this =need assistance on coding.

My roomate runs a non profit org - and we want to widen the "area" white bordered area that holds all the information (it's the part that has a scroll attached to it) but still leave some of the blue color to be present to hold the small links/small writing on the side.
(please look at the site so you can understand what i am talking about)

I looked at the coding, but can't tell where it is (well, I can, but am not sure how to adjust this)

Can you advise - he got it probono so the guy won't give him any time to assist with changes at this point.

Oh, and if you also have an idea or way to do this without the scroll within the white area, that would help too....he and I don't like it at all.

I know this is asking a lot --- think of it for a good cause = thanks in advance

Hi Abby,

The width is set by the external stylesheet for the ID main. You can make a change in it. Make a backup in case you make a mistake.

The scroll bar is set by the DIV above the article. It is currently set to overflow: auto; -- you can change this to overflow: visible;
