Any success stories selling while social networking?

Finding a success story where someone sold their service or product by using Twitter or Facebook is like nailing jelly to a tree.
Does anyone have a real success story using them?

I personally have found better luck with MySpace than with twitter or facebook. Hope this helps.

I have some luck with Twitter but,I think that is only because some of the people I talk to on there have known me for a good while from forums.
Facebook - I just can not hardly stand to go there. To much 'junk'. Takes me forever to clean out the Apps crap & delete messages asking me to join groups that I have no interest in. I also find it hard to navigate for good conversation.
I have always done my best on forums due to the fact that people get to know you for something other than sales. Ok, that is if you actually participate in other parts of the boards (not just posting ads).
