I published my cookbook and a cooking website!

I just published my cookbook: 'A Bride's Cookbook or Surviving the First Year' as both an e-book and in print form. Then I built a website around it that has all kinds of recipes and tips for everyone, not just brides.
The site is http://www.abridescookbook.com
and the print version can be seen at http://www.cafepress.com/givitup.199111534

Hi!

Well, I am building a list for a monthly newsletter (the first went out yesterday with a Valentine theme) I'm attempting to drive traffic between my online store, my 2 blogs and my cookbook site.

On the cookbook site I have some affiliates and AdSense. It's all a bit of a learning/trying process. I am collecting information for a wedding site also - going through the same steps I did to create my cookbook site.

That ties in to my cookbook also and can also tie in to some sections of gifts my store sells too.

At some point I would like to create a spot on the cookbook site for people to share recipes with each other. And I want to write another book! And I write press releases (freelance) for people.

SO...lots of plans!! :)

I put mine on my CafePress store - since I already had the store - it's a matter of signing up with CP, a premium store if you pay by the year is 59.95 -then following the directions to type up your book. It's print on demand so they have a base price that they get, but you have no inventory - if someone orders the book - CP prints it, collects the money and mails it - you've marked it up, so get the mark up price - which they mail to you once a month.

It's up to you to market it - although some people find your stuff in CPs market place.

The Vanity Press places can get pricey and then you are also stuck selling them.

I also have mine in ebook form and built a website around it : http://www.abridescookbook.com - and do monthly newsletters.

Good luck with yours!
