The Resume Screener is a work-from-home position that requires approximately 20 hours per week. The Resume Screener's basic responsibility is to perform a preliminary screening on all job applications submitted to Progent, which include applications for technical, administrative, sales, and marketing positions. The Resume Screener checks that all job applications and associated documents are properly imported into Progent's specialized job recruitment database, that all required information has been submitted, and that any declared technical credentials are valid. The Resume Screener will assign a preliminary ranking to each applicant in order to streamline the hiring process for Progent's human resources department.

Director of Human Resources
Interacts Extensively with:
Human Resources staff responsible for managing Progent's job application database
Responsibilities include:
Consolidate all job application information emailed to Progent. Each applicant may submit multiple messages and attachments, and the submitted documents may have any format.
Check that all required information has been included by each job applicant.
Import all job application information into Progent's specialized hiring database and verify that all information is successfully imported and correctly classified.
Confirm that any claimed industry accreditations are registered and have not expired.
Score resumes by defined criteria in areas of work history, professional look and feel of cover letter and resume, certifications attained, and overall job skills.
Interact with Progent's human resources staff to help improve the effectiveness of Progent's job application database.
Minimum Work Experience Requirement
5 years of experience in human resources and 2 years of experience managing job applications

Home Office Requirements
Must have a personal computer or notebook powered either by Windows XP or Windows Vista
