Freelance Writer/Blogger

We are looking for fun and geeky freelance writers/journalists that can generate a minimum of 2 articles per week (min. 1000 words each).

The topics can range from interesting history, science, math, physics, or other academic subjects. All posts are expected to have some level of research involved but written with a fun and light tone. Content should be meaty and accurate but written for the “layman”.

COMPENSATION:
You will be an independent contractor and you will be compensated on a per post basis ranging from $50.00-75.00 each. This price is negotiable if the content is exceptional and put together well.

REQUIRMENTS:
* Be able to commit to 2 articles per week
* Be on time.
* Be creative, critical, articulate and sometimes snarky in your English-speaking tongue.
* Have strong research skills. Inaccurate content is a deal breaker.
* Be familiar with writing for the web. This includes post structure and layout that appeals to a wide range of attention spans.
