We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist that will provide technical support to end users and business partners over the phone, via email, and remote desktop connection. This will be primarily hardware support, helping users with installation and configuration problems with PC fax modem hardware. The Support Specialist will help users with the product line in all current versions of Microsoft Windows and Linux. Some fax software support will also be required.
Position will be a 1st tier support representative, with the advancement opportunity to become the Support Manager.
Qualifications:
* At least an Associates Degree in computer technology and 2 years of experience in a call center/help desk environment preferred. (Or equivalent experience).
* Strong familiarity with the Windows XP, Server 2003, Vista, and Server 2008 operating systems. Linux experience also a plus.
* Microsoft certifications a definite plus.
* Fax hardware or fax software experience will be preferred, but not required.
* Good documentation skills are required. (May be verified with previous employers)
* Good work space/quiet work environment at home, since job will require work out of the home.
