The Research Associate position has its primary organization appointment in the Teacher Quality group. This exempt positions primary location is in the Washington, D.C., office of Learning Point Associates, but can be accommodated in Chicago or Naperville, Illinois.


Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the design and development of policy studies or evaluations of education programs and improvement initiatives
2. Write research reports, policy briefs, and other communication materials
3. Coordinate and conduct data collection activities using a variety of methodologies, such as interviews, surveys, focus groups, and observations
4. Create, manage, and analyze large and complex data files
5. Build, link, and maintain databases and tables
6. Design, conduct, and interpret analyses of computerized information
7. Provide advice and guidance to other staff in reporting, interpreting, and documenting results of computerized data analysis
