meta tag help for site that sells water filters

I really only get repetative sales on a few of my products and that must be because of the metatags. My qustion is since I have over 35 pages & 100 products should each pages metatags keywords and description be completely differant or similar except for changing a few of the words?
Many of these products have very small descritions except for brand name, model and a brief description?
