Well...
Color choice is ok...but...
Your website is cluttered...the fonts are all over the map...navigation on top of navigation on the top of the site, on either side is distracting...font sizes are all over the board and not consistent...some of the stuff jumps when you hover the mouse over the text (distracting)...in the header graphic, having the word-picture-word-picture view is cluttered and I stopped reading.
Your left navigation is pretty organized though, I like being able to click on the little arrows and have it bring all of the subcategories out like that.
Good job there.
I think you have a little work ahead, but you took action, period. You are miles ahead of the 80% who have online ideas and don't take action. That deserves kudos in and of itself.

This is my personal opinion, but I think your site needs more color.
A nice, professional header at the top would do wonders.
The grey color is a bit drab - maybe a nice pastel would be good.
