Does my website take too long to load? I am worried that it does.

Any other feedback would be appreciated as well.

I'm on DSL, and it loaded fairly quick for me - hardly a delay.

The links at the top are a little overwhelming. I would suggest perhaps only linking to the main categories and then having sub-navigation on those pages. Or maybe just leaving them at the bottom and not having them at the top of the page also.

Some of the content is confusing, like Long Hair and Goldfish Ponds, being on a homeschooling site. You might work those content pages into the homeschool topic somehow? I can see the Goldfish Ponds being great for science experiments for example. Just a thought.

Lynn,

Loaded fine for me.

Headline needs to be blue (test it against red).

Left - justify the text in the center, only center the headline.

I didn't get much farther into your site than that.

Lynn,

I agree - it would be a good idea to reverse your colors and make the text green and the links blue - the standard link color. People are more familiar with it and will click more.

Just a thought.
