Website To Be Reviewed

I have a website that I would love for you to review:

My husband and I created this one to not have so much of a business feel to it. We have others that are very business oriented and wanted to try another avenue and see how it goes and who it appeals to. Our business has grown a lot from our other websites and just want to try this also.

Does it load fast or slow?
Is my color scheme too much?
Any other advice or info will be helpful and very appreciated.

I agree.

Loads fast. - not too many graphics your customers won't have a problem either.

You said you were trying to steer clear of the business feel - but soon as I saw that page, that is what I felt. I see dollars signs with numbers - the wording is you selling. It is impossible to avoid the notion.

Darker colors (the background) comes off as just that, dark. It gives it a evil - not nice - mood. Lighten up the colors, lighten up the mood.

The main header picture is nice - the coatal backbackground. You litter it up with text over it and cover some of it. Don't do that and it will look better - or atleast integrate the text over it - just put an entire box over the pic.
