I really don't need one at all because it doesn't get used but 4-5 times a month unless my daughter has something going on at school and she takes it with her. She thinks she needs one of her own, but we're not even going there.

Posted: Fri Mar 20, 2009 3:14 pmI know what you mean. I finally caved in and got my oldest a cell phone. It was the only thing he wanted for the longest time and his grades were good, so I figured what the heck.
He barely uses it, he just likes to say he has one when his friends are all swapping cell numbers. His is a Tracfone also, so he has to earn up his minutes by helping around the house and keeping his grades up at school. Of course, now the other 3 kids want their own too!
