Bad gift!

My girl gave me a gift that I told her that I did not want and I made her take it back. we exchange gifts early cause we couldn't wait. Now she is mad at me and I do not feel like she should be upset.

Was I wrong? I don't feel like I was wrong, but she is super upset.

Yes, I think you were wrong, although I understand your feelings. It is difficult when someone gives you something you hate. However, it was a gift from their heart that they put time, thought and money into and I think we need to be gracious and thank them for the kindness and love behind the gift. There are things that should just be kept to ourselves for their sake, I think this is one instance. Her feelings are hurt.

I agree with valg, if anything you should have secretly taken the item and exchanged it later for something else, ladies tend to put a lot of thought into getting their man the perfect gift what you did was a real blow to her ego. I would be angry too all truth be told, I would feel as though you were ungrateful and uncaring of my feelings, man you better do something really really nice to make up for this with her. I mean it you be in the dog house big time right now.
