About 20 year ago, my husband thought telephone headsets would be a great invention. Of course that's as far as it went.....an idea. Just think had he pursued it.

I have a little book of quotes I have collected over the years that I keep on my desk so when I get discouraged, I can flip open to some motivational words.

I got these from a book I read years ago called: On a Clear Day, You Can See Yourself

1. No one can bring your life to you.
2. No matter what you do, someone important to you isn't going to like it.
3. Though it is painful, rejection won't kill you and it may even lead to growth.
4. Every choice means giving up something else.
5. Some people are not capable of giving you what you are trying to get from them.

boy, number 5 sure hit hard.
yesterday was my ex's birthday. I have not seen or talked to her in years but I thought about her yesterday.
Maybe if I had thought of number 5 back then, it would have been easier to get over her.
