These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things: Games

Ohhhh...the Force Unleashed is pretty cool. It is a Star Wars game that takes place in between Star Wars Episode III and Episode IV. In the game you take on the role of Darth Vader's secret apprentice and following Darth Vader's orders you hunt down and destroy the few remaining Jedi. The effects and force powers that you can wield are what really make this game stand out. Never before has the force been so visceral and fun to use.

Ok, I have been neglecting the old school games a bit here as I just have not had time to play them recently. The other day I did manage to sit down for a few hours for a rousing game of Runebound.

Runebound is a story driven board game, where the players have a variety of goals to complete. It is a fantasy swords and sorcery game where you adventure around the land slaying monsters and overcoming challenges and building your power levels up so that you can take on greater challenges and eventually defeat the great evil that is terrorizing the land.

All in all the game is a solid B game and is certainly a fun one to play with some like minded friends.
