Your Favorite Political/Election Sites?

For those of you keeping up with US Politics, I'm curious what your favorite sites and sources are online for news and facts?

For a perspective you will never see on the nightly news, go to . You can sign up for their free daily (M-F) newsletter which can be read quickly. It makes you realize that by a long shot not everyone agrees with what is reported by the major networks.

Also very interesting is . You take a test to see where you stand on 20 issues. Then they tell you which candidate most closely matches your choices. It can be quite an eye-opener for some people indoctrinated to believe they "are" one political party or persuasion but discover that someone they never would have guessed matches them quite well. It's *all* based on issues. Party affiliation is not brought into it.

I took the test last week. The top 2 matches had already dropped out, and number 3 was the one I had planned on voting for, anyway. What was kind of scary was none of the three matched better than the high 50's with my viewpoints.
