My newly updated Myspace page....

Postby lisamariemary » Mon Dec 04, 2006 2:41 pm

This could be on topic or off topic, I suppose, as I do talk about my biz over there....but, I also hook up with my cousin, long-lost friends, neighbors, school chums

and the dear people I left behind in Dallas last summer when we moved out to Balyhama...heehee

Anywho - it looks purdy!

And I had to tell someone! So ya'll go look!!! Please!

LisaMarieMary

I just gotta get rid of that ugly URL box...it turned out BLAH!

Thanks, Kim! I know - aren't those Xmas profiles funny - there are tons of them!

I'm not sure what the benefit is in people doing them, I've searched and searched on their pages to see what it could be, and I still have no idea - but I thought they'd look cute on my page - and they send frequent Xmas-y comments - so that's good, too!

Off to check out your page...

I really enjoy MySpace - more so lately, I admit. I finally put a background on mine, vs the standard blah layout lol: http://www.myspace.com/lynnterry . I've made some great friends, met some locals, and chat it up with all the teens in the family.

Of course, I network with quite a few IM'ers on MySpace as well, and its been a great place for more laid back contact and communication.

Now that's something!

Your page actually inspires me to maybe want a myspace page. The only ones I have seen are ones that my son (can you say teenager?) pulls up. They are not horrible, but many have obnoxious music or pictures and just a lot of...well...things to waste one's time. Your page is really pretty. You were telling the truth! And it looks like people really visit and interact there. I am going to take a look around at the other pages and see if I am inspired even more! :D

If you set one up, be sure to add me as a friend ;)

I just blogged more details about it here if you are interested in getting involved: http://www.clicknewz.com/453/my-space-on-myspace/

Okay, now I am doubly inspired. 8) I mentioned in another post about starting something new. I am definitely keeping my Healthy Homeschool website. (Just can't sell it or let it disappear. I also could end up homeschooling my two littlest ones later on, so who knows. ) Anyhoo, My Space would be something fun to do! I just have no idea what I would want my My Space page to center around. I am interested right now in urban gardening, debt-free living, herbal medicine, mosaics, and Nathaniel Ames  and the founding fathers and collectible sports cards. Should I just hang out on My Space or do something focused? Maybe if I just get started, I'll know, right?

Hi LynnWilson
My name is Sandy..
I also have a nice myspace page if you'd like to see
another one. And, to see how others make theirs look.

Please feel free to add me to your friends list when you make your page up.
And also, feel free to ask my list of friends to become your friends too.

I have some pretty big internet marketers in my friends list.
(Lynn Terry is among my favorite friends)
Maybe you can have them help you along too.

I used their new Web 2.0 profile editor the other day and I really liked it! Check it out:

http://www.myspace.com/lisamariemary

Has anyone else here used it yet?

It's one thing that dragged my attention back over there from Facebook, where I've recently been obsessed about being! LOL
