This was really an eye-opener for me! First, this actually has resulted in some of my better days! Second, now I think I understand why Google does not want your site to subscribe to autosurf programs.

I just wanted to followup on this topic... I *AM* getting paid for impressions. Not much, but I am. I think it may depend on the AdWord advertisers whether they wanted to pay for impressions as well. I don't know, I'm too tired to research it, but I just wanted to let you know that I am getting paid for adsense impressions. Since my last few changes, I've actually grown my adsense income by a bit. I don't have enough time to do more, but I surely will later this month.

Yes, I was getting paid for impressions also - it was just an unreasonably low amount compared to the per-click amounts.
