Has anyone heard of the new NetAudioAds program? Apparently, it's not quite out yet, but they are recruiting like mad.
It pays pretty well on several levels, but the gist of it is placing a theme related 5 second audio ad that plays when someone clicks on your website. You get paid when they just click on your site.
Of course, there's been some discussion about how annoying that could be, but for 5 seconds, it's probably not THAT obtrusive. Don't know how they'll figure out who has the sound down or not, as a lot of surfers do that.
At any rate, it could be the next big deal in contextual advertising. I for one, am definitely signing up (just in case) and also because I think Charles Helfin from SEO2020 is a pretty stand-up guy and wouldn't be peddling crap.
