Hi Folks,
I thought I posted this question last night but can't find it.
I am trying to sign up for Adsense, but my site is not up yet. In the sign up it asks me for my url. Do I have to have a site online first and then get Adsense approval andthen go back into my site and ad the code?
I was going to do it as I go, but is that not possible?
Thanks you for your help..
Nate

You will have to set up your website before you can get approval from most of the Affiliate Networks or affiliate programs.

Thanks,
Such a simple answer and I could not find it anywhere....even among Joel Comm's material. Maybe I just missed it. I do have the new Instant Adsense Templates program from Joel....packed with info and tools....almost more than a newbie can absorb...but so far working with it and the videos are great....

Well, I got a copy of his Adsense book with the package and have printed it off and have gone thru it and have it handy by my side. Lot of good info.
I do feel for the new folks who are trying to get started. There is so much info and so many programs and so many people saying their system is the way to go...it can get very mind boggling and even discouraging.
And it's easy to keep trying to learn and never actually doing. I have pretty much cut off all new ideas and programs until I get some things up and running.....then I will entertain new ideas as I go. I have so much in my brain....information overload!
Of course I am a student of keeping things simple. One day maybe I'll produce a book or course on the very, very, very simple steps to get up and running online. Then if a person does that and likes it, they can go further in any number of directions.
Anyway...thanks for everything.
Nate

I can relate to that. I've been in this almost 10 years and just keeping up with the new products and new ideas and changing technology keeps me on my toes!!
You have the right mindset, and your focus will help you achieve those goals
