My recommendation would be to either draw up a proposal (and contract!) for a joint venture option... or work on a business plan with the intention of gaining a sponsor.

~$600 isnt a huge sum of money, so the alternative would be to figure out a way to make that amount, and then invest it into your idea

What is it that you need $580 for?

If you're creating a website, I can see you need a domain (probably) and hosting, but what else? Do you need to buy some software... can you do parts of the project prior to this, so that you can at least show a potential sponsor the direction in which you are heading? (ie part of the job completed on a fraction of the total sum needed).

Hey Xeon, I don't know where you are, but I know that here in the U.S. you can get a domain name for $8 u.s. and up, a complete 250meg web hosting account for $24 u.s. a year. You can get a pretty good education on SEO right here in this forum for free.
I think you are worrying too much about money, just get started.

Good advice, Robert. You can also use the free trial at for your keyword research.

I can understand the need to pay an artist... but if $300 is for SEO, that only leaves $280 for the artist & hosting & other misc expenses. Saving the $300 would be to your advantage - the rest is easy enough to earn in a short amount of time. Or - is it possible that your artist will agree to a payment plan?

Also - I once borrowed $8,000 from the bank (with zero personal credit, mind you) on a business plan alone - nothing to show. A detailed plan, an agreement... and a signature.

Hope this helps - or at least stimulates some new ideas for you!
