What are the best ways to market your products?

Postby hector99b6 » Mon Nov 10, 2008 12:35 pm

Hi everyone, I have a new product that I would like to make popular online. It is an accessory for the feminine market and has its other ranges too. I have planned a website for that and would be soon going online with that, I would like to know the strategies that people employ at different times in order to market their products. I myself have some planned in the schedule, but it would be interesting if I could get some more ideas from the members here so that I can try the better ones that interest me the most.

Thanks in advance

There are lots of ways to make your product popularize. Sometimes, it also depends on what your products appeals to, but that is just a matter of chance as this is a thing considered at a later stage. For initial marketing, I think that when you have a website going on, you can go for online marketing like offering an affiliate program, join social networking, give something away but the best among the concepts is to place your ads in videos and publish them on sites that have videos for general viewing. This is a great way to make your product reach a million people as the number of them watching online videos is a lot more and to help you to gets adds in videos, adntube offers an excellent platform for marketers to publish their videos by directors with adds. :)

More suggestions:

Twitter
Forums that have to do with your niche or people who would use your product

Definitely submitting articles and the social sites are great too.

You should also optimize your pages with the best keywords for the search engines.

There is no "one" best way to market anything. But from my own personal experience nothing beats article marketing. Forum posting is pretty effective also.

what ever you do make sure you get into the article writing and submitting, with your website link included. Web 2.0 is also good

Blog Posts, write articles pertaining to your niche, focus on certain keywords, and participate in forums. Do these things weekly. Also yahoo answers you can include your link there when you answer questions.

All of the above are great, but if you're just starting out, you may have to rely on PPC. Just don't bid too much!

PPC is the best way to test if a product will sell as you will get almost instant results. Setup a small campaign and see how well the product converts. You will also learn which keywords convert to sales and you can use this information for your other marketing methods.

there are many ways to go about it. writing articles is always good(almost everyone here agrees as you can see). If you do know how to do
ppc without wasting a lot of money for testing, if definitely gets the fastest results.
you could try going to http://bidvertiser.com I used them last year. They are affordable, and I think they even give you $50 to start with when you sign up. Just make sure you read some info on the best way to do ppc first.

Do you know who your target audiences are, try finding them online, where do they hang out, and who is working with these kind of people.

Try and contact the business owners working with your target audiences offering them a percentage of what you are going to make on the product, maybe 40%. I know you are giving away a huge amount but the people that bought are going to be on your list: your buying client list, so you can promote to this list in the future.

It would have been better if you posted some information about your product ...All the above recommended tools & services are important and you should yourself build a strategy or hire an invidiual or a company who can do the internet marketing for you.

Let me know if you need to get started !
