Did anyone try services like 1000000links.com, in which you place a link to them in your blog, then click on it and you get 1,000,000 links back to your blog instantly?

I thought this is exactly what is known as "link farms", which I think will get you into trouble with SE. If it is something else, please inform.

I havent looked into that one myself... but this is the type of thing you really dont want to do. ANYthing that you do specifically to manipulate search engine rankings is considered "spam" to them.

If you ask yourself the question: "would I do this if there were no such thing as search engines??" and you cant answer "yes"... its not advisable

A few years ago I actually had a site penalized for too many links too fast. I spent an entire week on link exchanges, only to find the site disappear from Google after a few months. Luckily it was just a little site, but lesson learned.

Building links one at a time (especially one way links) is what's going to bring you the most long term success.

Yeah! These are totally off from any of my marketing tools.

They hurt your rankings and can even cause your site to be taken off and banned by search engines.

Steer clear off them...

Anyway just a thought...what if unrelated sites or even worse, those undesirable sites are backlinking to you without you even knowing! That will totally pull you down the ranking charts...

Its best to gain slow quality backlinks one at a time

this ensure that you will succeed in the long run

and won't get banned by Google in the short term.

Are you sure that the amount of hits ,traffic and visitors to my website will increase.It says it is a link farm and has a I.P OF ONE IRRESPECTIVE OF THE NUMBER OF HITS WE WILL BE GETTING.
