Hi All, I just registered.
I've learned from various I.M. sources about some factors that go into one's decision to market a particular product-line.
- The large availability of "Hi KEI" keywords in wordtracker for that industry ( industry meaning shoes, or vacuum cleaners, etc)
- Your own interest in it (after all, you don't want article-writing to be tedious and painful)
- If you can find enough merchants that have good "creative". It would be a waste if you could only find 2 merchants from CJ on, for example, shoes that people would actually be impressed enough to buy from, right?
I've found many sites that I would not personally buy from, and I've had to remove merchants from my site, because I got real about that finally.
But I wanted to suggest something additional and get feedback from you - maybe I'm overdoing the research effort from this extra step.
I was browsing CJ's chart ( a page that you have to be logged in to access ), of 7-Day EPC, and I was switching between industries. Is there a particular threshold of this amount that you should watch out for?
Mostly, I just simply wanted to find out if anyone had ever made a decision to not go with a particular industry because you had seen the "EPC" or earnings per click a little bit low.
