How Do I Market The Ebay / Amazon Affiliate Program

Hi i am just wondering if you were to sign up for the Amazon or ebay affiliate program how would i promote them?

I know when you start an online business you have to find a niche.

Any ideas on how to promote them?

What i am stuck on is as ebay sells mostly hardware how would you promote that?
