The best way to get more traffic to our website is throgh Social Networking,PPC and Adword,Article Marketing,Craigslist,Blogging,exchanging reciprocal links

Chastill,

Direct Access = They typed her website into the browser, not using any search engine or link to get here.

Bookmark = Coming to the site via a Bookmark/Favorite in their browser.

Her numbers are very high in those areas due to a loyal following of repeat visitors, like you and me.

Ok, so here are my stats from Google Analytics atm:

Referring Sites 73.3%
Direct Traffic 21.0%
Search Engines 5.7%

I have only just started Traffic Generation but have some promising results so far.

Now I just need to use figure out what everything in Google anayltics means, or more specifically what it means I should change, focus on or explore more... :wink:

Another thing you need to look for using Google Analytics is the keywords that are being used to find your site. You may find that you had some visitors come to your site using particular keywords that you have very little actual content for. When you go through your site adding additional content for these keywords then your traffic numbers will increase.
