The figures for the example that I gave in the original post were for the "count" column. But after looking at the results again, the number in the "predict" column was very close.

And now after reading all your repies, I am really confused!

Looking at the definitions of count and predict that are on Wordtracker (the same definitions that Lynn posted), it says that...

- Count is for 60 days and is the total WT database.

- The predict is the predicted searches for all search engines for one day.

Then why would the numbers for both columns be so close if one is for 60 ays and one is for one day?

And if both columns represent all search engines, why do they break the results out into Altavista, MSN, etc.? Sometimes the results are different for the various search engines, you get different keywords, and different competing numbers. But many times the numbers in the count and predict are the same.

I think I would be better off buying Keyword Analyzer.
