How important is KEI in researching keywords?

I have read most of Lynn's articles on keyword research and haven't seen it mentioned like I have on other sites.

Hi & Welcome :D

I actually dont pay any attention to KEI. As you can tell from my articles on keyword research, I prefer to analyze competition myself. This comes from the fact that I was told KEI was flawed in it's methods... and I would tend to agree with that, after comparing my own results over the last couple of years.

I'm not 'SEO Expert' by any means, but my method works quite well for me!
