Let eBay Give You Some Info Product Ideas...

Postby Kirk » Thu May 25, 2006 10:14 pm

I built a simple query at eBay to pull any auction with the terms "How To" or "Learn To" in the title - it pulled almost 18,000 auctions!

Some of the stuff that's selling out there just blows my mind, but it certainly gets you thinking about the info-product possibilities - some of those sellers have thousands of sales...

Excellent idea, Kirk - Thank you ;) :D

It really does pay to use the top traffic sites on the 'net to research concepts or look into niches. Sites like eBay, even MySpace.

Thanks Kirk! It was a great idea. I knew we could get a lot of infoproduct ideas from eBay but I didn't know how to search for "how to" guides there. But now thanks to your link, I know how. :)

*embarrassed* - I was showing my wife a couple of threads on SSWT and she gave me some grief about my *Spinal Tap* pic.

"Why would you choose that idiot from Spinal Tap on a business site?" she asked, "I'll send you a picture you can use...I'll email it to you". Then she sends a picture of me in a *pink* shirt (not that there's anything wrong with that!) - we compromised by making it B&W :D

I was reading your, and Lynn's posts with interest but the comment about the pink shirt got me. I used to have one. I wore it into a biker bar one day!
