Name that URL

Very long story, but 37 years ago I sold Avon and have always wanted to do it again. So I'm taking the plunge.

Times have changed. I have a web based ordering system, that allows orders 24/7 with no delivery charges to the customer.

I am having just the hardest time coming up with a URL name that is NOT taken. And I can use your help by way of ideas.

So... I'd appreciate it if you'd give me ideas for the URL name, words that should be in it, whatever, may assist me.

If you're looking for a domain name bearing Avon in it and you're one of
their distributors, you might want to read your agreements with them. It
might contain a term or so prohibiting usage of their trademarks.

and if you are allowed to use their name, try this:
Avon-Beauty
Avon-Lady
Avon-women
Avon-Woman
Avon-Website
Avon-On-The-Web
avon-calling
ding-dong-avon-calling

use dashes in the names, make the name descriptive of what you are selling. put dashes/hyphens between the words.

remember, you can NOT use spaces in a domain name or any other file name. ( except on windows computers )

nobody would type in "avonbeauty" or avonlady" all one word.
therefore, if your domain name is all one word, you are missing out on some search returns.

search engines ignore uderbars _ but see hyphens and will return everything that has the word avon in it, everything that has the word lady in it, etc. etc.

think about search engines and what people really type in them.

these days, there is not much hope of finding good/short domain names.

that is ok, most people never type in a domain name anymore, they will be clicking on it in an email or sig file, etc.

therefore, the big long domain names with lots of keywords in them, separated by hyphens, work very well.

just some food for thought.

Try using an 'i' or an 'e' in front of some of those names - they might be available that way. Good luck.
