IP Addresses - Can I use more than 1 domain?

It really depends on what you are doing with those domains. Using separate IP addresses is more of a "blackhat method" and is used when you are interlinking websites for the purpose of boosting PageRank or Link Reputation.

I just get the shivers with the mention of blackhat marketing... sounds like it could be fun though... you know... just being mischevious and clever and sneaky.

But alas, I shall not go there!

I actually dropped that hosting account before I set anything up - last week - after this post.

My intentions were to keep the IP addresses seperate for each domain, also knowing that I'll be adding other sites later.

I didn't really have a cross linking strategy in mind. I'm fine keeping them seperate.

I went with 3rd sphere instead because it was 1/2 the price, and good reviews from you folks. BTW the other host was ServInt - they looked solid and came highly recommended, but a little pricey.

Re: 3rd sphere... If I have a few sites, is it all under one IP address then? Just curious...

I'm just about to start adding a couple of more domain names.

Do you have any advice on structuring multiple domain files on one server? I really want to avoid the chaos that I am about to embrace. If it's possible...

I'm a little nervous. I will go nuts if these files get all mixed together...

I have read some of the earlier posts re: 3rd sphere, but I didn't quite understand everything re: directories and subdirectories for each domain.
