Just a heads up that there'll be a new and extra step to transferring your
.com domain name among registrars. I've written in detail how this will go
via my sigfile (scheduled to publish on Wednesay), but the shorthand is
you need to provide an "auth code" or "EPP key" to the gaining registrar.
You first obtain this information from your current one, preferably before
you start the online process to transfer your .com domain name. Once you
get this, you give this code or key to the gaining registrar.
Check with both sides for specifics how they'll approach this. Each side has
its own way of doing stuff, so each one will do it a wee bit different yet all
will follow the same process.
Feel free to ask me if you've questions.
