stupid question maybe?

I finally was able to get a layout of a forum that I am pretty happy with, my question is how can I get it to my index.html page? I wanted it to be the first thing that comes up as soon as I go to my main URL and I also think that if I can get it to my index I can edit the html using keywords, etc to get it up on google and ranked. Sorry Im a completely new to this but hopefully you can understand my main point... here is the forum Im trying to get to my main index
