phpBB Question

I'm thinking of putting together another phpBB forum for another project that I am about to begin over the next few months. As you know I have my current phpBB forum on yoshi2me.com ~ What I'm wanting to do is put the second forum on yoshi2me.com as well.
I'm planning on purchasing a domaine name and simply having it point to the new board. What do you think? Do you feel this would be ok? I've never really heard of anybody having more than one forum on the same server. Is it ok to do that? Will it take up tons of space? What do you think?
