Anybody has forum from IP boards

Dear SSWT members
i recently shifted to IP boards for my two forums
As already shifted , dont want to compare it..................

Anybody there who also using IP boards

My two forums are as

http://spicyflavours.net

http://mechanical-engineering.in/forum



Another problem me having is................

my forum previosuly was on cgi script so its url was spicyflavours.net/index.cgi now as it mooved to php

its url of boards all changed............. and me back to start up in google search engine .........IVt was almost 4 yrs effort goggle was now crawling quite oftenly but...... not now

what can be done....................??

Hi Saurabh,

I've worked with IPB but not on the setup part. You might want to contact the company who is hosting your website to find out how you can do a redirect from the old url to the new one. I'm not sure how you would do it from the cgi bin. I wonder if it could be done with a standard redirect html page. Maybe someone else here has experience with this. Good Luck.


Google will crawl again. Just make sure your url is in your signature links on the sites where you post. Don't forget to add the links to all your profiles too.
