I am wondering how phpbb and yabba forums compare? Does anyone have any experience with both or prefer one or the other.

Between yabba and phpbb I would go with phpbb. I've used phpbb but my last forum I used and I like SMF better then PHPBB. I agree with Lynn Terry about vBulletin , it has nice look and has more features then the freebie forums. So that would be the top choice if you don't mind paying for the license. We'll have to start a collection to pay Angelaaa's fee so we can know the truth.

I'm back on phpbb over SMF. phpbb is much easier to use different skins compared to SMF. At least for my level of coding which is unzipping and ftp'ing

So my next forum will be phpbb instead of SMF.
